Summary

The successful postholder for this role will work as a key member of the Learning and Organisational Development (L&OD) Team to provide strong, reliable and flexible administrative support. Our ideal candidate will be experienced in the use of the national NHS electronic staff record system (ESR) and be familiar with dealing with a range of L&OD administration queries. You will be the first port of call for many of the queries coming into the team so will need to be welcoming and approachable with a strong customer focus, as well as being able resolve issues in a timely and efficient manner.

Dealing with L&OD queries by phone, e-mail and face to face

Creating and administering a range of training and development programme including mandatory training and coordination of Leadership Development programme. Dealing with customer (WUTH Staff) queries and working as part of a team to ensure key tasks of the function of delivered on time and in accordance with team protocols.

Providing ad-hoc support to the OD Team, Leadership and OD Lead and the Associate Director for Organisational Development, including minute taking and the recording of action notes.

Providing administrative support to engagement / learning sessions including co-ordinating bookings, creating and distributing online links, and providing and on-the-day support both at venues and on virtual meeting apps.

Maintenance of the team’s training diary support to ensure trainer, venue, equipment availability.

Maintain a central database with all confirmed and planned L&OD training.

Providing administrative support for the evaluation of L&OD activity
