Summary


We are recruiting for a Band 4 Aseptic Services Clerical Assistant who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a keen and reliable individual to join the Pharmacy Aseptic Unit at Arrowe Park Hospital, Wirral.

This position will involve working within the Pharmacy team and alongside a multi-disciplinary team of health and wellbeing professionals to deliver high quality services to patients. A key part of this role will be to provide administrative and clerical support to the pharmacy aseptic unit.

You will partake in an in-house training program of development to ensure high standards of patient care are maintained and will have the opportunity to be involved in service development and procedures implementation of our aseptic services.

The Job Description outlines the roles of the Divisional Personal Assistant (Aseptic Services). You will be an integral member of the aseptic team providing administrative and clerical support in order to advance the quality management system in accordance with Medicines Healthcare Regulatory Agency (MHRA) regulations, national policy and guidance.

To lead on response and management of orders from external customers. To lead for consumables management for all consumables used in the aseptic service unit. This also includes the preparation of data collection tools (spreadsheets and databases) and the collection, input and analysis of data to support the preparation of reports.

You will be required to communicate complex Information effectively; verbally, in writing and where appropriate using electronic formats, with colleagues, customers and staff from other professions on Aseptic products and supervision related issues.

Concentration will be required for long periods of time.
