Summary

Urban Green is looking for an Office Adminstrator, ideally with experience of working within an office environment to join our team in Manchester. We will consider applicants looking to work part-time and full-time hours.

The role
The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking a varied office adminstration role to ensure the smooth running of the business.

Key responsibilties
The successful candidate will be responsible for (but not limited to):

General
Managing phone calls and general emails
Managing incoming and outgoing post / correspondence
Printing and scanning documents
Arranging staff/client meetings, scheduling appropriate times, booking meeting rooms, planning refreshments, and taking meeting minutes, writing up and distributing appropriately
Managing vehicle booking system including organising their maintenance, insurance, fuel cards and records
Organising CPDs and catering as appropriate
Providing PA support to the management team

Staff
Organising arrangements for new starters and leavers
Maintaining first aid, fire, electrical and health and safety compliance
Organising and booking training courses and events
Arranging travel and accommodation
Maintaining the staff sickness and holiday monitoring system
Involvement in the monthly staff forum and arranging social events

Finance
Managing office purchases including equipment, sundry supplies, etc
Managing petty cash and purchases
Collating and managing monthly staff expenses
Supporting the finance function

Asset Management
Managing and maintaining a stock of sundry office supplies and refreshments
Organising, maintaining and updating PPE, tools and equipment log

Microsoft Office proficient
Competent communicator
Ability to work at all levels with colleagues

Desirable requirements
Previous experience of working in consultancy or construction
Experience of finance/HR software
Hold a valid UK Driving Licence
