CAMHS Rapid Response responds to young people referred in crisis, offering assessment, and short-term support to young people and their parents/carers. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a developing and expanding crisis service. will be working with other administrative staff in the service.

You will be based at Wokingham and will be working with other Admin staff in the service. Administrators are key to our Trust, supporting our service users and clinicians. Berkshire CAMHS is a multi-disciplinary community-based service that serves a child population of approximately 300,000 across the County. The teams comprise of child psychiatrists, clinical psychologists, family therapists, nurse practitioners, psychotherapists, art/play therapists, social workers and Primary Mental Health Workers.
• Working as part of an administrative team, you will support our clinicians in sending out correspondence and booking appointments. You will answer emails and telephone calls, following up actions where required.
• You will need to be experienced in taking minutes at meetings, diary management and confident in using the full Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• You will also be required to work on your own initiative and demonstrate a willingness to help others as a key member of the team.
• The ability to build effective relationships, with a flexible approach to work is essential.
• You will be expected to be able to prioritise work and meet deadlines in order to fulfil the requirements of the post.
• Carry out day-to-day organisation of systems to ensure the smooth running of the administration team.

The 3/4 “must haves” for you to be considered for this role: 
• Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to work under pressure and be able to re-prioritise own workload to manage deadlines. NHS experience would be an advantage.
• Good interpersonal, communication and reporting skills with the ability to communicate with people at various levels both internal and externally.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills and knowledge including experience of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Ability to work effectively in a team, using initiative, demonstrating accountability for own work, as well as being flexible and adaptable.
