Job Type: Contract
Duration: 6 months – potential to extend depending on workload
Location: Spadeadam, Brampton - Home working / Hybrid working options available
Salary: Flexible to industry rates and experience
Mileage: Travel and accommodation expenses in line with business requirements only. Please consider within hourly rate.
Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week
Start Date: January/February 2024

Job Description

The role will undertake the provision of technical drawings to projects and discrete work packages in line with the Project Design Engineers Functional Requirements, an agreed design standards and project schedule.

This is on a 6-month fixed term basis but depending on workload this could be extended to suit on-going project deliveries. Positions are available for immediate start.

The daily duties will include:

Creation of overview and detail mechanical / structural design drawings with commercially available CAD programs (e.g. AutoCAD or similar)
Generation of material masters and parts lists
Creation of layout drawings for plant process areas
Develop and structural model designs as requested by Project Design Engineers
Creation of structural assembly / fabrication drawings for internal and external use
Preparation of technical documentation for internal use
Presentation of designs to internal stakeholders
Attend single and multi-discipline Design Reviews

The successful candidate will have the following:

Completed training in a technical profession
Good understanding of technical drawings
Structured, reliable, thorough and result-oriented way of working
Good written and spoken English knowledge
Experienced use of MS Office tools
