Role overview
About the role
To produce and provide accurate page-ready services for PA customers of the Radio Times team. To communicate effectively and in a
responsible and professional manner to those customers, ensuring client satisfaction and production deadlines are met on a daily
basis.
Who you are
Key Responsibilities:
* Produce and complete all tasks assigned to you as part of the team’s daily workflow accurately and to deadline.
* Ability to produce unsupervised all products on the team’s workflow accurately within three months of beginning production on
said products.
* Liaise directly with customers over the phone or email to define and agree on daily production requirements.
* Follow documented production processes and procedures relating to all products.
* Escalate customer complaints or dissatisfaction effectively and promptly to Production Manager or designated Shift Leader, and
work with that person to establish a solution.
* Where required, proofread customer pages as part of regular team workflow
Key Performance Indicators:
* Customer trust in PA to produce and deliver a high-quality and trusted service is maintained.
* No service credits are accrued in any 12-month period as a direct result of production error by yourself.
* No loss of service or reduction in revenue as a direct result of inaccurate or continuous poor performance from you.
Nature & Scope:
* Directly responsible for accuracy and quality of all pages produced by yourself.
Key Competencies:
* Self-management and motivation
* Effective communicator with sound verbal and excellent written communication skills
* Pro-active attitude and behaviours
* Flexibility and ability to deal with diverse client requirements
* Flexibility to work a variety of shift patterns designated in advance by the Production Manager
* Attention to detail, accuracy and completeness, active listening
* Ability to prioritise work under pressure and to deadlines
* Proven ability to follow operational procedures
Essential Requirements:
* Good general subject knowledge with a high degree of understanding of downstream customer impact
* Ability to work and organise your time effectively under pressure, ensuring all deadlines are met
* Ability to work proactively & independently using own initiative
* Work within a 24/7, 365 days a year schedule
Technical Competencies:
* Strong knowledge and experience using Abobe InDesign
* Working knowledge of PA software and interfaces
