Summary
Focused Recruitment are currently seeking a number of Press Operators within the Caerphilly area to join our clients manufacturing plant.
These roles are full time, ongoing working for a global manufacturing company, who offer a fantastic working environment, culture and are very much an employer of choice within the local area.
Duties:
- Set up and operate press brake machines according to specifications
- Set / operate CNC machinery and equipment
- Read and interpret engineering drawings
- Select appropriate tooling and adjust machine settings for each job
- Performing proper set-up and calibration procedures for all equipment and accessories
- Setting tolerance levels and cutting speeds
- Translates the requirements of detailed part drawings into measurements for production
- Inspecting work flows to ensure that technical and quality standards are met
- Devising a work plan to efficiently carry out daily machining
The desired candidates will have:
- Be able to work as part of a team.
- Previous relevant experience operating a CNC / Brake Press Machinery
- Knowledge of health and safety in the work place
