Finance Controller
Are you looking for an exciting role and are a detail-oriented individual with a passion for numbers? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and efficiency are paramount? We are seeking a diligent Finance Controller to join our team in Helston. As the Finance Controller, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Senior Leadership Team in ensuring the accurate and timely processing trading accounts, onboarding and payroll for all employees. The ability to multi-task is a must as you will be expected to work on multiple administrative projects at the same time.

What does the job involve?
Revenue
• EPOS / POS daily reconciliation.
• Management of daily/weekly transactions.
• Management of CIT schedules.
• Management of Petty Cash.
Payroll/HR
• Verifying and processing timesheets to ensure accuracy of hours worked and relevant data.
• Producing letters and documentation for new starters, leavers, and contract extensions.
• Updating HR systems with people data.
• Supporting the onboarding process for new starters.
Accounts Receivable
• Processing, payment, and management of invoicing systems.
• Scanning, filing, and logging account documents.

Reporting

• Generating payroll reports and assisting with preparing documentation for audits.
• Production of weekly report for stakeholders.
• Scanning, filing, and logging account documents.
• Trend analysis of trading periods.

Key Skills / Experience
• Strong numerical aptitude
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Strong attention to detail with ability to work to deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Intermediate IT skills, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Ability to build relationships with stakeholders.
• Ability to work on your own initiative as well as supporting the wider team.
• Self-motivated with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Great ‘guest focus’ with an inbuilt excellence mindset.
• Previous administration experience required.
• Previous experience within a payroll position is advantageous.
