Do you possess the expertise to influence and drive continuous improvement within one of the largest NHS teaching hospitals in the country? If so, we would like to talk to you about the exciting opportunity to join our team as Estates Compliance Support Manager at UHS.

As the Estates Compliance Support Manager, you will play a pivotal role in auditing, monitoring and reporting on all estates related legal compliance and coordinating risk management activities across Estates, Facilities and Capital Development.

Key Responsibilities Include:
• To monitor, report and provide information and specialist guidance on all current and relevant legal and technical estates compliance, building related regulations, healthcare guidance and Trust policies.
• Lead the estates compliance auditing, monitoring and assurance reporting programme.
• Responsible for coordinating risk management across estates, facilities and capital development.

General Duties
• Implementing the estates compliance priorities and objectives.
• Working autonomously to plan and manage a demanding workload including day to day activities and programmes of work.
• Deputising for the EFCD Compliance Manager when needed.
• Undertake or provide independent support for recruitment, investigations, or other activities across EFCD
• Liaising with a range of external bodies to maintain a specialist level understanding of latest requirements and procedures.
• Understanding and presenting highly complex and / or legislative information to staff and managers across the Trust and board level when appropriate.
• Where necessary, challenging and influencing others to ensure compliance with relevant legislation, policy, and the range of working procedures undertaken across Estates.
