Job Opportunity: Desk Based Surveyor
We are currently seeking a skilled Desk Based Surveyor to join our client's team for an exciting project based in the Brighton area. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a rapidly growing initiative in the telecommunications industry.
Role Overview: As a Desk Based Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing and supporting field Surveyors and engineers in Fibre Delivery on Openreach projects. Key responsibilities include:
• Providing leadership and guidance to Survey supervisors.
• Driving improvements in the quality of field surveyors and teams.
• Collaborating with Project Managers to enhance survey quality and efficiency.
• Facilitating ongoing training and support for field teams.
• Participating in client meetings and calls.
• Ensuring compliance with company procedures and safety standards.
Requirements: Successful candidates should possess:
• Extensive knowledge of surveying requirements for fibre build networks, including Openreach Network.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in Fibre Build Project Management.
• Proficiency in platforms such as Orion & Geo Hub.
• Strong understanding of NRSWA and Traffic Management guidelines.
• Excellent presentation skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Possession of a full UK driver's license for a minimum of 3 years.
• Willingness to undergo a DBS check.
