Job Summary: At Nimbuscare, we have an exceptional career opportunity for a truly transformational leader. Nimbuscare is based in York and is owned by all of the Practices in the city, however we deliver services over a wider foot print. We are seeking an experienced, driven, innovative, inspirational, and inclusive Chief Executive Officer who has the ability to lead a collaborative and agile organisation with a not-for-profit ethos that cares for its people and patients. You will provide consistent leadership to set the tone and build on the culture of the organisation in line with our values. You will have the ability to build credibility, inspire confidence and influence people at all levels in the organisation. You will be an experienced board executive with NHS or wider healthcare sector experience, preferably with a strong provider background and have a track record in leading complex change, as well as managing external responsibilities and priorities. You will be a strong leader of teams, living our values in all that you do, bringing challenge to thinking across the organisation in how we support and improve the wellbeing and health of our communities. Alongside this you will be an exceptional communicator with an understanding of how to lead change together with a proven track record of delivering significant transformation. Equally, you will be a champion for Equality, Diversity and Inclusion , helping our staff to feel appreciated, supported and included in Nimbuscare successes. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Provide clear, visible, responsive and professional leadership to all staff which results in maximising effort and potential Lead and develop an enabling culture within the teams that supports success, innovation and progression and contributes to the success of the organisation Provide leadership in the delivery of the organisation's strategy Leads on engagement with specific internal or external stakeholder groups Nurtures good levels of leadership at all levels, actively addressing problems impacting our peoples ability to do a good job Takes a lead role in developing strategic proposals drawing on professional and clinical expertise as necessary Actively supports and promotes a positive culture for the organisation and reflects this in their own behaviour Working with Executive and Non Executive Director colleagues to provide leadership to support Nimbuscare to provide high quality, safe care for our patients and to make our organisation a great place to work for everyone Deliver and develop strategic transformation Represent Nimbuscare in meetings, on various committees and groups across the Integrated Care Boards (ICBs), with a focus on improving the health and wellbeing of the population we serve, tackline health inequalities and improving health outcome Being accountable for financial control and for ensuring that the organisation meets its statutory financial duties The job description is provided as an outline of the key tasks and responsibilities and is not intended to be an exhaustive list.
