Site Engineer needed in Northallerton £23.12ph ref 1251707
Working 40 Hours over 5 days, with the opportunity for weekend working.
The ideal person will have the following:
- Hold one of the following qualifications: a Civil Engineering degree, HNC in Civil Engineering, NVQ4 or equivalent relevant working experience
- Demonstrate significant experience in highway / construction related activities as a site engineer or equivalent with experience in setting up sites.
- Have knowledge and understanding of NEC
- Have experience in planning MSP and dealing with SCPs
- The ability to manage and maintain site records accurately
- Have experience in measuring and claiming
- To hold SMSTS or similar or be willing to undertake
- Be able to prepare HSEQ files
- Developed communication skills to influence, persuade and motivate others
- Be able to problem solve and make evidence-based decisions
- Be willing to travel across the county to meet with Operational and Support teams, train local teams and to attend meetings.
