Summary
The Graphic Designer will Brand Development and Maintenance Develop and maintain the hospice's visual identity, ensuring consistency across all materials. Collaborate with marketing and communications colleagues to understand brand guidelines and incorporate them into design projects. Print and Digital Design Create visually appealing print materials, including reports, flyers, posters, and banners. Design engaging digital content for online platforms, including social media graphics, website elements, and email campaigns. Illustration and Infographics Develop illustrations and infographics to convey complex information in a clear and accessible manner. Work closely with content creators to visually represent hospice services, values, and educational resources. Event Collateral Design materials for hospice events, including invitations, programs, and signage. Collaborate with event planning teams to ensure all design elements align with the event's theme and purpose. Photography and Image Editing Select and edit images for projects that highlight the work to the best effect. Work with photographers to capture authentic and meaningful visuals for marketing and promotional materials. Taking photographs as required to capture events and stories at St Anns Hospice. Collaboration and Communication Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and communications colleagues, fundraising, and healthcare professionals. Communicate design concepts effectively and incorporate feedback to refine designs. Compliance Ensure that all design materials adhere to industry regulations and compliance standards in the healthcare and charity sectors. Stay Current with Design Trends Keep abreast of design trends and continuously seek opportunities to enhance the visual impact of the hospice's communication materials. Project Management Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines are met and stakeholders are informed of progress. Co-ordinate external suppliers such as printers to meet deadlines and budgets.
