Summary


Do you have an interest in research and would like to gain more experience in the area? Are you a registered health professional or an administrator with an interest in the analysing data? Do you have a good working knowledge of excel and want to use your skills within research? If so, we have an exciting fixed term 12-month post with the Respiratory Medicine Department at Homerton Healthcare Foundation NHS Trust to develop the departments research portfolio. You will be working alongside the multi-professional teams to help organise, analyse data and produce reports for publication and conference entry within the department.

This post is ideal for anyone who would like to gain some experience in research, it is a development role, and the post holder will have support with any training requirements.

The post holder will mainly be working alongside the Adult Cardiorespiratory Enhanced and Responsive Service (ACERS), the Cardiorespiratory Consultant Physiotherapist and Medical Consultant Leads. The team is sitting on a large database of information, that needs some organisation and updating. The post holder will be central to supporting this, accessing information to help ensure the data is analysable for publication.

The Respiratory Department actively participates in research and the post holder will support this and help the department look for other opportunities to participate in research, which could include the development of research proposals and ethics applications.
