We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Veterinary Surgeon to join a wonderful team at a thriving RCVS accredited practice in North London. Our client is a friendly and bustling practice conveniently located just a short walk from Stoke Newington Overground Station. With a reputation for excellence, the practice is consistently fully booked, providing a rewarding and dynamic environment for veterinary professionals.
You will become an integral part of their friendly and cohesive team, led by an experienced Lead Vet. Their dedicated support staff includes a Head Nurse and a team of passionate veterinary nurses. Together, they create a positive and collaborative working atmosphere that promotes growth and success.
The practice is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, ensuring that you have access to the tools you need to provide the best care possible. Their in-house resources include ultrasound, x-ray, i-STAT, and a blood machine. In addition, they have a strong partnership with their nearby sister hospital in Kensington, which offers round-the-clock care and support.
As a Veterinary Surgeon your daily duties will encompass a wide range of clinical activities, including consults, routine surgeries, dentals, and x-rays. You will be expected to deliver a consistently high standard of clinical care to valued clients and their beloved pets. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with best practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
The successful candidate will need to be RCVS Registered and have a minimum of 2-5 years' experience with small animals.

The Rota:
• Full time - 4 day week
• 1:3 half or 1:6 full weekends
The Benefits:
• Fantastic salary - up to £6,000 DOE
• 5 weeks' annual leave
• 4 weeks' paid sabbatical (after each 5 years of service)
• Enhanced Maternity and Paternity Pay
• CPD Allowance £1,500 plus 3 days CPD leave
• RCVS, BVA and VDS fees paid
• Vehicle allowance or Company Vehicle
