The Practices consists of 5 sites serving 42,000 patients spanning over Bracknell/Crowthorne and Sandhurst. We are delighted in being able to offer a Nursing Assistant Administrator position to support our experienced and enthusiastic Nursing team. Main Duties and Responsibilities The Nursing Assistant is an admin job who will work closely with the Nurse Manager/ Deputy Nurse Leads and wider nursing Team. The nurse assistant is to provide assistance to the nurse. They help nurses so that everything can be done faster and efficiently. They are basically the eye of the nurse. They will assist the Nursing team with various tasks including: Stock Ordering Monitoring and recording of fridge temperatures. Restocking and maintenance of consulting rooms, supplies and equipment. Ensure that stocks are maintained and replenished before the expiry dates. Weekly/ monthly checks of emergency drugs and equipment. Coordination of patient care and appointments Attend practice/clinical/nurse meetings and contribute to the agenda in the development of the nursing service and where appropriate wider practice systems. Participate in quality improvement e.g. audit, development of protocols and new services. Assist and maintain infection control measures. Aid vaccination clinics, including data entry. Successful candidate should be able to travel frequently across 5 sites of Ringmead Medical Group (Ringmead Birch Hill, Great Hollands, Crowthorne, Owlsmoor and Yorktown Road Surgeries) so it is important to have full clean driving license and access to car.
