Summary


We are seeking an experienced programme manager, with proven ability to deliver major projects to desired outcomes including time and cost, to support the significant reconfiguration of UHD Radiology services as part of our programme to modernise healthcare in Dorset.

The post holder will work closely with UHD's Transformation and Strategy team, and the WCCSS operational team, including wider operational teams & service stakeholders.

Location: Royal Bournemouth and Poole Hospital

Reporting to the Head of Imaging services , the Programme Manager will be accountable within the Radiology Directorate for the transformation activities and programme. This includes the
• New Hospitals Programme (NHP)
• Capital Programme
• Clinical Design and Integration Programme
• Service Reconfiguration Projects

The Programme Manager will be responsible for ensuring consistency of approach across all the projects/programmes and ensuring adherence to governance and reporting processes to provide assurance to all stakeholders.

They will also be responsible for implementation and delivery of their own specific projects/programmes which will include oversight and mitigation of risks as well as setting project milestones for the project teams, working to them to ensure delivery within relevant time, cost, quality parameters.

The services within directorate portfolios are delivered predominantly at The Royal Bournemouth Hospital and Poole Hospital, with a smaller proportion delivered at Christchurch Hospital and in other community/hospital sites across Dorset via Service Level Agreements.
