Summary


An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and efficient individual to join Gynae Oncology Department at The Royal London Hospital for 12-month fixed term contract or secondment.

It is recommended that you discuss the secondment opportunity with your line manager ahead of applying.

We are looking for an individual who has a strong sense of initiative, excellent teamwork, and the ability to manage a team of staff including managing their performance targets.

The post holder will provide administrative support to the clinical team, including the Senior Management, as well as supervision and leadership to the administration team with responsibilities for booking appointments and managing the outpatient activities.

The work is varied and challenging, and your role will be crucial in helping to ensure the team's key performance targets are met through administrative support and processes. You will have experience in effectively implementing and maintaining new systems.

Successful candidates must be able to demonstrate excellent communication, an attention to detail and have a thorough and methodical approach to their workloads. They must possess sound computer skills with an aptitude for learning new systems and databases.

The post holder is responsible for providing administrative support to designated clinicians and patient cohorts. This will include the proactive management of individual patient pathways to ensure that patients are diagnosed and treated in line with clinical need and national and local waiting time and access targets.
