Morrison Water Services are looking to recruit a Scheduler for our Yorkshire Water Contract. We are looking for people who like a new challenge and want to work as part of a great team. As the scheduler you will be responsible for making sure work is assigned in an efficient way to enhance performance and productivity for our Traffic Management and Support resource. Your day will be focused on ensuring the system is fully utilised to arrange the correct set up Traffic Management, SLG compliance is maintained and sites cleared within the agreed Permit validity, always utilising the correct resource to attend in the most efficient and cost-effective way.
The scheduler role can be fast paced with a clear focus on time management to make sure no time is lost when emergency work is received. You will be the key communicator with operational resource, customers, and key stakeholders to deliver our Right First-Time approach, delivering a great customer journey for all of our customers.
The ideal candidate will be organised, a good communicator and thrives in an environment working as part of team.
As the Traffic Manager & Support Scheduler your responsibilities will include:
- Confidently plan and schedule all work orders using the scheduling system to effectively deliver the day.
- Schedule each task to the correct resource in the most efficient way to ensure daily performance can be achieved taking into considering location and workload.
- Utilise all systems to ensure that accurate information is available to the operational resource, so they know what is required for each task.
- Confidently in speaking and co-ordinating work to effectively manage the completion of all work orders.
- Escalate any potential cost of failure risk, to ensure we do not go into Section74 overrun for not clearing sites on time.
