About The Role
Overall Purpose of the Role

To act in a Supervisory role during planned and unplanned periods of absence by the permanent Supervisor.

To undertake the duties of the Supervisor as laid out within this job description.

When required to support the on-site management team in overseeing the day-to-day supervision & long-term development of the UKAEA contract.

When required to provide effective supervision to build a strong and effective working relationship with our colleagues.

Ensuring customer satisfaction through provision of a quality service as laid down in the contract specifications and controlled by the Contract Manager.

To Cover Supervisor role when required during Absence and Annual Leave.



Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Role

  • Maintain services and operations to comply with site specific quality standards as advised by the Contract Manager.
  • Maintain the necessary conditions for an effective and safe working environment.
  • Inform the Contract Manager of any training and development needs required by your teams to achieve our individual goals and enhance their performance.
  • To advise the Contract Manager of any administration or man management issues on site that may affect the smooth operation of the cleaning provision.
  • Work in partnership with the Contract Manger on planning, organisation, and evaluation of works on site.
  • To ensure that stock levels are adequate to meet site specification and advise Contract Manager when an order needs to be placed.
  • Set a good example and follow toolbox guidance and policies provided by the Contract Manager, and to ensure that the team are working in line with OCS agreed guidelines.
  • Company Policy: Ensure that Company Policy is implemented and adhered too.

  • Identify and develop existing services and provide information to the Contract Manager
  • Ensure the team are working in line with the set contract specification to ensure all areas are met.
  • Ensure the performance targets are met for the contract KPI's.

Educational Level

  • A good standard of education

    Professional Qualifications
  • Certificate of cleaning standards proficiencies Experience
  • Knowledge of all aspects of the role including administration, health and safety, human resources, safe working practices and good IT skills.
