This is a perfect opportunity for an ENT Trust Registrar ST3+ to join our team and develop on the experience you have acquired by working alongside our existing team of experienced and motivated Consultants, Junior Doctors, HCAs and administrative staff. You will primarily be based at Peterborough City Hospital with cross site working at Hinchingbrooke Hospital.

Located in the western part of Cambridgeshire, the historic towns of Peterborough and Huntingdon have been transformed by town development schemes bringing improvements in housing, education, and employment opportunities. The hospitals are accessible by road or train within easy commute distance from London, Cambridge, Leicester or Birmingham.

Your main duties will involve management of general ENT conditions in both an in-patient and out-patient setting as well as covering emergency ENT conditions during normal and out of hours rota.

During your time in the ENT department, you will be expected to improve your clinical and surgical skills. Together with the ENT clinical team whose focus is on the diagnosis and treatment of ENT conditions including H&N Cancer Management, you will be expected to take an active role in managing patient pathways.

You will enjoy flexibility in your role which will give you the opportunity to be exposed and gain experience in various service requirements within the department. These would include work in Otology, Rhinology, Paediatric ENT, Head and Neck including 2WW outpatients, depending on the needs of the department and the skills and experience of the applicant.

In addition, you will attend administrative duties, support with the training for junior members of staff and attend Audit and Clinical Governance meetings.
