We are excited to be recruiting into this new permanent full time Band 7/8a Clinical Psychologist/Clinical Neuropsychologist post to support neurological rehabilitation patients in the HMR Community Neuro Rehabilitation Team (CNRT) and the Bury Integrated Team (CSNRT). Please note: applicants must have completed at least the first year of the PGDip in Neuropsychology to be considered for an 8a position. Funding arrangements are in place for the PGDip and successful completion of the first year of the course allows you to be considered for the 8a position.

The HMR CNRT and the Bury CSNRTs are welcoming, ambitious and enthusiastic teams with a wealth of expertise. There is a focus on multi-disciplinary working and goal setting to achieve the best outcomes with the patients and their support systems. The teams provide assessment and intervention for people across Rochdale and Bury who have a broad range of neurological conditions and acquired brain injuries.

To provide clinical psychology/neuropsychologically-informed assessments, formulations, and interventions for persons referred to the HMR CNRT and Bury CSNRT for MDT input. This includes individuals with a wide range of neurological conditions and acquired brain injury.

To support the CNRT and the CSNRT in working with these client groups.

To monitor outcomes with clients.

To support research, audit and service evaluations within the 2 teams.

To provide training to other members of the MDTs.

You will join one of the largest Neuropsychology teams in the country. We are a group of highly committed and supportive clinicians who work across inpatient, outpatient and community settings supported by an excellent administrative and managerial team.

The person will benefit from the supervision structure and peer support of the department and the additional CPD opportunities afforded here.

We are looking for a proactive and creative individual who has a keen interest in clinical work and in developing evidence based, inclusive clinical neuropsychology services.
