A leading children's charity is seeking two dedicated Children's Services Managers to join our team on full-time, permanent contracts. As the Responsible Individual registered with Ofsted, you will oversee four residential services across Leicester and the local area.
As a Children's Services Manager – Responsible Individual, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective operation of our residential services. Working closely with senior colleagues, you will develop and enhance services to meet the diverse needs of children, young people, and their families in the Leicestershire community.
Key Responsibilities: Children's Services Manager – Responsible Individual - Leicestershire Area
Act as the legal representative of the organisation, ensuring all responsibilities associated with the operation of the homes are effectively discharged.
Demonstrate an understanding of effective practices in responding to the needs of looked-after young people and local authority care planning duties.
Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations, staying abreast of any changes.
Oversee external monitoring of practice within the homes, including OFSTED inspections and compliance visits.
Develop and implement continuous improvement plans for the homes under your responsibility.

Requirements:
Previous experience in a managerial role within children's services.
