An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Dental Team Coordinator to join the Lancashire & South Cumbria Dental Service to lead and support the Dental Teams at Barbara Castle Way, Royal Blackburn Hospital and Darwen.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, motivated and highly driven individual, with the ability to motivate others. You will need to be able to demonstrate experience of excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage change and support colleagues around the current dental contract. You will need to be proactive, innovative and able to keep quality, service users and the team at the heart of everything you do.

You will need to have a good knowledge of the dental Service and also be registered with the General Dental Council as a healthcare professional.























Within the co-production model provide effective and efficient leadership and management

To line manage and provide support and supervision to the Dental Team

To manage and be responsible for meeting the Team’s access and performance targets; to work closely with the Associate Clinical Director, Clinical Co-ordinators, Dental Service Co-ordinators and Clinical Team Lead to ensure service delivery and to maintain the smooth running of the department.

Lancashire & South Cumbria NHS Foundation Trust provides a range of services including secondary mental health care across this area. Specialist provision comprises inpatient child and adolescent mental health services, perinatal mental health and forensic services including low and medium secure care.

The Trust also provides a range of physical health and well-being services in the community alongside a range of partners in the Lancashire, Cumbria and Sefton area.
