Feel Good Suffolk is an exciting collaboration across Suffolk with the aim of empowering clients to take control of their health and wellbeing with health improvement changes such as weight management, increasing physical activity levels, and stopping smoking.
As a Feel Good Suffolk Advisor, you’ll provide support to adults by telephone, video call or face to face in community venues on a one-to-one and group basis. You’ll also plan and facilitate the delivery of group sessions, drop-in’s and one-to-one support based on the key themes of physical activity (including exercise on referral), adult weight management and smoking cessation.
What you will need:
The post holder will have a strong understanding of wider health determinants and experience of supporting people to access local services. The candidate will have experience of working with individuals from a variety of backgrounds with differing level of support system and needs and have broad knowledge on health and wellbeing issues.
The candidate will be organised and able to work under pressure to tight timescales over a period of time and be a strong communicator with proven active listening skills.
Hours of work are 37 per week, Monday to Friday. This role requires flexibility and the ability to work some evenings.
DBS clearance is required for this role.

1 x 37 hour 2 year fixed term position available
1 x 34 hour 2 year fixed term position available
