Overview
Doncaster Racecourse is currently seeking a driven Event Porter to join the team. Doncaster Racecourse is one of the busiest racecourses in the UK. Part of the Arena Racing Company (ARC), Doncaster Racecourse is a unique multipurpose venue welcoming over 120,000 guests to over 70 fixtures each year.. The venue offers more than just racing, with an on-site Hilton Hotel, multipurpose conference and events facilities.
Main Duties
This is a multi-faceted role incorporating a variety of duties associated with the setup, operation and breakdown of all events at Doncaster Racecourse. Working in conjunction with the event management team; the role will incorporate support duties for facilities, hospitality and retail areas on a flexible basis. These duties will include the set up and operation of events, client liaison, and support with F&B service, cellar support and bar operations.
Person Specification
• Experience within a similar role is ideal
• Computer literate
• Excellent communicator and a High level of interpersonal skills.
• Works well under pressure

Working as a casual member of our operations team we are offering a casual role which will give you the freedom to work between a few days each week to more full time hours as per the business needs.
