This opening assignment is for 1-2 months
City: DARLINGTON
Quantity Surveyor to join the Council working as part of the Construction team. Your will work closely with the Head of Building Services to manage the finance for a range of construction schemes. These include major new build housing developments, capital works, schools, and public listed buildings.
Key Responsibilities
Undertaking the forensic analysis of tender, contract and claims documents
Supporting colleagues and clients with the preparation of claims for loss and expense
Offering support with the preparation of any documents relating to the adjudication process
Draft written reports, setting out the processes in place, conclusions, solutions and recommendations
Support the business with their plans to grow, contributing to business development and network events

Qualifications:
Degree or equivalent in a relevant field and experience as a Professional Quantity Surveyor and dealing with a range of building construction schemes.
Experience:
At least 5 years of post degree qualification experience

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
