Rotational Shift Pattern across a 24 hour service

Salary from £35,392, rising to £37,350 after 2 years,

AN exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic experienced RMN to join our innovative management team on Windermere Lodge

We are a 20 bedded ward offering inpatient care to adults over the age of 65 with functional mental health problems or organic disorders such as Dementia/Alzheimer’s. Additionally, we also offer inpatient care to adults under 65 who experience mental health issues with identified frailty in line with the national clinical frailty scale.

We are looking to recruit someone to the team who can demonstrate substantial clinical skills at this level, who is committed to furthering their professional development. We see our service as a genuine specialism and this post forms part of our plan to provide career progression alongside continuous service improvement.

You'll have the scope to complement and support our innovative leadership team.

We are looking for someone that we can support to mature into a dynamic, inspirational leader. You will need to be enthusiastic, innovative and want to work in a service that is committed to the provision of personalised, evidence-based care.

The successful candidate will help support a dedicated multi-professional team to provide high quality care for people during an acute phase of their illness and be able to demonstrate leadership skills and team working experience.

You must be a qualified RMN, able to demonstrate related learning beyond registration and be prepared to continue enhancing your clinical skills. It is important that you understand multidisciplinary service provision and the challenges that face people with acute mental health issues, along with the staff who support them. We want to hire someone that is passionate about mental healthcare, with a strong conviction for recovery focused practice and possesses communications skills of the highest caliber. You must show that you are caring and compassionate with a desire to safely manage your staff team for the benefit of our patients in an effective and efficient way. You must have an excellent understanding of risk assessment and management and how to work within professional boundaries. Our service is challenging, stimulating, diverse and very rewarding.
