Summary


The Community Cardiology service provide a range of nurse and GPwSI led services in the community and clinics.

This is a part time position working 15 Hours per week - 2 Days per week, either Monday, Tuesday or Friday.

Ideally you will have experience as an HCA or similar role where you have experience with supporting people who are living with a long term condition. We are looking for someone who is interested in developing their skill and knowledge in the field of cardiology.

Cardiology experience would be desirable but is not essential. We will provide training in all the tasks required as well as regular supervision, development support and access to our Talent for care team should you wish to look to develop your career with ESNEFT further.

As this post is community based a car driver is essential.

You will work with a team of assistant, associate practitioners, nurses and GPs with special interest. Our service provides one stop cardiology clinics, heart failure specialist nursing, cardiac rehab (phase 2 and 3) and community cardiology clinics.

You will support the running of clinics as well as performing home visits to carry out tasks requested by the nurse. This might include observations, weights, ECGs.

You will also support the cardiac rehabilitation service in their phase 3 exercises and education classes.
