Summary


The post will be focused on the management of Benign Urology pathways including Surgical Andrology, Stones, Male Lower Urinary Tract Symptoms (LUTS) and Functional Urology. ICHT is a regional referral centre for complex Andrology and was recently designated as a European Academy of Andrology training centre. ICHT has a high volume stones unit offering a range of non-invasive and surgical treatments. The service offers an innovative One Stop clinic for Male LUTS to provide a range of diagnostic tests at the time of first appointment. This post holder will manage the administrative function for the Urology Outpatient Department at Charing Cross Hospital (3 North). The Department is a combined outpatients and diagnostic unit.

The post holder will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team alongside consultants, junior doctors, nurses, pathway co-ordinators , service support manager and business manager to ensure that the service delivers safe and effective care to our patients.

We are looking for individuals with operational management experience as well as experience of process improvement and with high levels of attention to detail. We are looking for a highly motivated individuals with excellent communication skills who have the ability to work well as part of a large multidisciplinary team. The post will be of interest to those who wish to pursue a career in hospital management and would like to gain more experience in a busy service with a wide variety of challenges.

The Administration Manager is responsible for managing the people, processes and performance of an administration team within a specified service. This includes managing the planning and prioritization of the work associated with their team and organising all activities in order to achieve a cost effective, productive, high quality service. The post holder will apply their patient pathway expertise to expedite the patient journey and deliver an excellent patient experience.
