Are you an experienced Early Years professional looking for a Room Leader position in North London?
Winner Education are seeking an experienced Room Leader for a large nursery setting based in the Finchley area. Our client has an outstanding reputation and is dedicated to revolutionising early childhood education in the UK. This a full time, permanent position with an immediate start required.
SALARY – Up to £29,500
HOURS – Full time, all year round
LOCATION – Finchley, North London
START DATE – ASAP
Roles and Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the day-to-day running of your designated room
• Contribute to the overall success of the nursery
• Ensure every child receives the care and education they require
• Work closely with the senior management team by contributing to team meetings
• Lead and mentor a team of practitioners by example
• Maintain the highest standards of polices, procedures and regulatory guidelines
• Contribute to creating a safe and inclusive environment
• Build positive relationships with parents
• Provide regular updates on children’s progress
• Engage parents with their child’s development
The successful Room Leader will:
• Require a level 3 or above in Early Years
• Have an excellent understanding of the EYFS curriculum
• Demonstrate excellent knowledge and understanding of safeguarding
• Previous experience within early years with a track record of leadership
• Have a passion for developing children ready for their school journey
• Be resilient and strong-willed
• Have excellent communication skills
