Hours: 36hrs per week. Monday- Sunday as per local rota, varying shift pattern Location: Torbay Start Date: 1st July Interviews: 1st Week May Following the Michael Richards report, in which it was highlighted that diagnostic services should be delivered taking a new approach to provide more accessibility to people in the community away from acute settings, we at InHealth are excited to be partnering with the NHS to develop new Community Diagnostic Centres to support this vison. Following this we are delighted to be a new Community Diagnostic Centre in Torbay in Summer 2024, and are actively recruiting now to build a passionate and dedicated team to, ready to support this nationwide programme to enhance the availability of healthcare in the community, while enhancing your own career. Right now we are looking to recruit Receptionists into the team. Are you passionate to join a Brand-new Centre, that is allowing healthcare to be more accessible to the local community, while working towards the mission to make healthcare better? This could be the job for you! What will you do: As a receptionist, being the initial step in the patients journey on arrival, you will provide an immaculate first impression to the patients, ensuring they receive the best patient care following their arrival into the department. Taking responsibility to ensure you have all the correct patient details, and the clinical team are promptly notified of the patients arrival is the start to ensuring the service runs smoothly and efficiently. We also welcome that our Receptionists cross train in our Clinical Assistant roles so you can support the wider team where needed and enhance your skills to allow more variation in your role Welcoming patients in a professional, courteous and positive manner Ensure the reception area remains clean and safe at all times Confirming each patients identity matches the records on the system Escorting patients to and from the clinical area as required Supporting patients with pre-scan paperwork as needed Ensuring all patients are comfortable and informed in the waiting area Accurately entering all relevant patient data into the patient management system Supporting the clinical assistants as required We are looking for someone who has Experience in a healthcare environment or a passion to work in healthcare Experience working in a customer facing role or a receptionist role before Strong administration skills Flexibility to working patterns An empathetic and caring approach A passion for delivering the highest level of customer service Experience working in a fast paced environment
