Are you looking for an exciting new challenge in a fast-paced and dynamic environment? Look no further! We are currently seeking a skilled Prison Finance Co-Ordinator to join our team and help us ensure the effective administration and delivery of services to prisoners.

As the Prison Finance Co-Ordinator, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently providing an administrative service to the contract, producing and maintaining records for the financial services offered. You will take full responsibility for handling the prisoner finances, ensuring that their accounts are accurate, up-to-date, and managed in line with local and national policies.

You will be working closely with the Business Services Manager to deliver high performance and satisfaction levels, and ensure compliance against all of the relevant procedures both locally and nationally covering the Ministry of Justice and Serco requirements for these deliverables.

You will also need to maintain a comprehensive knowledge of security responsibilities in line with local/national policies and contribute to managing the security of the prison in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.

What you will need to do the role
To be successful in this role, you will need previous experience working in finance and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, you should demonstrate an understanding of business and customer-focused requirements, have strong time management skills, and be able to prioritise work to meet operational requirements. You should also possess excellent communication and organization skills, an approachable, positive, and solutions-focused attitude.
