Summary

Job Description:

Responsible for the stores/stock activities– Waste, Construction, MRW loadcells and consumables
Organise and label Waste stock
Roll out use of bar code system on Zoho linked system for Waste stock.
Manage stock levels using Zoho linked bar code system.
Embed goods-in process including checking and signing in of all supplies and
components.
Signing and submitting all delivery notes to the Office Manager, Immediately notify Office Manager if any goods received are damaged.
Take photographs of the damage.
With the office manager, return any incorrect orders and damaged goods.
Manage stock levels, complete stock-take with guidance and perform stock rotation
Advise office manager of low stock levels and assist in reordering.
Monitor and plan for upcoming installations (and review SIR index) with line manager/workshop
manager to ensure stock is on hand.
Understand usual supplier order lead-times
Pick kits in advance for testing and installations.
Understand and retain bills of materials for kits.
Manage van stock with service engineers.
Work with management to reduce excess stock and return to supplier for credit if
possible.
Pick, pack and dispatch orders.
Maintain and enhance relationships with suppliers, research and suggest new
suppliers for quality and value for money
Progress supplier orders if necessary
Store and effectively reuse-recycle packaging
Effectively monitor and arrange for the ordering of consumables.
In addition to the Office Manager and after training assist in booking
collections/shipments of components and kits to customers/other suppliers
Gain an understanding of the MOBA product ranges and the kits/components
associated with same Rationalise storage of items not core to MOBA business.
Create dedicated storage space for exhibition and marketing effects.
As required assist in the packing, transporting, build up and breakdown of exhibition stands around the UK/Ireland.
Clean and maintain exhibition paraphernalia.
Arrange for and book in outside contractors as requested Repairs.
Quarantine dedicated repairs area.
Manage repairs process in a timely manner, including gathering fault data,
completing returns forms, packing and sending; Obtain MOBA QBCD returns form
from office manager and learn QBCD system.
Implement packing protocol.
Keep organised service repairs area.
Liaise with the Production team to test repairs for faults
Vans.
Assist with guidance van checks.
Arrange MOT’s, minor repairs and maintenance.
Advise on suitable racking, chevrons, lighting, etc as requested.
Premises and Health & Safety.
(once appropriate guidance and or training required is completed.
In a caretaking capacity, keep premises tidy in particular, the workshop.
Perform minor repairs within capabilities and with guidance and training.
Organise repair works with approval from the operations manager.
With Official Training, Act as one of fire marshals. Conduct regular fire drills and log
same. Ensure fire extinguishers are inspected and annual fire alarm system is tested.
Prepare method statements and risk assessments as required.
Monitor first aid book and replenish kit.
Assist with any Health and Safety duties with guidance and Training.
Organise annual PAT testing.
With workshop supervisor, maintain company tooling and machinery. Be aware of
existing equipment service contracts.
With training become a company first aider.
Monitor utilities usage and suggest ways to become more efficient.
Conduct ladder checks and maintain log.
Perform maintenance of the yard and landscaping with guidance and within
abilities.
Cost out and organise contract hazardous waste collection supplier for rags, waste
oil, containers and the like.
Advise line manager of any health and safety concerns.
Help with COSHH statements and controls with guidance and training.
Assist with cleaning and specifying of workwear/PPE kit.
Advise cleaner of any issues as necessary.
Monitor security system; Insure annual testing of security alarm system and security
cameras.
Miscellaneous:
Provide workshop engineering support within abilities as requested.
Assist with self-certification and quality reviews.
Undertake appropriate training as required including first aid, forklift, and manual
handling.
Collect consumables/sundry items as requested from local suppliers/shops within
abilities.
Happily, assist colleagues with any MOBA related duties requested
Provide support to answering phone calls and proactively direct them to a suitable
colleague.
Comply to MOBA policies and procedure.
Maintain a flexible attitude in terms of duties and working hours
Provide on-going feedback regarding customer service.
Always represent company in a good light to customers and provide excellent
customer care were contact presents itself.
To ensure that the aims and strategic requirements of the MOBA Group are
represented always in accordance with the company philosophy.

Training:
Delivery to be completed on site and off the job training either at Barnsley College or your place of work
