Newstaff is looking for a CNC enthusiast looking for their next role to join our dynamic team as a Multi-Skilled CNC Operators.
Details:
• Hours: 7am - 4:30pm
• Days: Monday - Friday
• Temp to perm
• Free parking available if required
The ideal candidate will start immediately, temp for 1 week and then become a permanent member of the team.
Salary will be based on experience.
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Programming & operating CNC machinery using software
• Proven Self inspection skills
• Artwork Design and proof preparation for clients
• Responsibility for manufacturing a meeting deadlines
• Conduct machining and inspection of parts to meet our high-quality standards
• Perform secondary operations such as drilling, tapping, and polishing
• Set up and program machines using Fanuc & Heidenhain control systems
• Perform quality checks to ensure products meet specifications
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the machining process
• Able to use hand tools confidantly
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Prior knowledge of G-code programming is a plus
You will need to have a good level of English and a good understanding of English too.
Full training can be provided but someone with CNC operative experience will be beneficial and ideal for this role.
