Summary

Job Title: CNC Turner Setter/Operator

Location: Nottingham

Hours: MON WED 6.00 4.30

THURS 6.00 3.30PM

** OR**

FRI, SAT & SUN 6pm 6 am



Pay Rate: For **day** shift - £32,000 - £33,000

For **weekend** shift - £60,000 - £60,500



We are currently recruiting for two CNC Turner Setter/Operator for the day shifts and one CNC Turner Setter/Operator to work on the weekend for our client in Nottingham. They are highly regarded within the Aerospace Industry.

The machining processes they offer are turning aerospace parts to tight tolerances on a variety of machines and full 100% inspection of your own parts. Alongside this you must produce parts to drawing requirements and verify parts using basic equipment while also managing a safe operation and set delegated machines. You will be operating two twin spindle, twin turret CNC lathes with milling capabilities, experience with any robotics is preferred but isnt a must.

**Whats the job?**


* Experienced CNC Turner twin spindle, twin turret Nakamuras or Mazaks
* Good understanding of Fanuc/Mazarol programming language
* Experience in small batch work and complex parts
* Quality focused working to a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Able to read and interpret drawings
* Proficient working to tight deadlines
* Able to work as a team player and using own initiative
* Safely operate and set delegated machines
* Able to work to tight tolerances
* Excellent awareness of health and safety aspects at work

**Who can do this?**


* Experience with Aerospace industry and twin spindle, twin turret Nakamuras or Mazaks.
* Suitable Industry recognised qualifications in CNC turning setting/operating and milling capabilities
* Good communication skills.
* Preferably apprentice trained
