Crynodeb
To carry out Asbestos management, refurbishment and demolition surveys throughout the UK but mainly Wales and the South West. Must be BOHS P402 Qualified with a minimum of 9 months surveying experience. Will be required to carry to out detailed asbestos surveys in accordance with industry standards (HSG 264, HSG 227), and our own internal policies and procedures. This includes, but is not limited to, detailed and legible site notes, clear and neat site drawings, and representative photographs. Will need to have a full UK driving license and be willing to travel to and from sites. Overnight stays and working away will be required. Will need to be able to work off a ladder.
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
1. Appropriate asbestos qualification to BOHS P402 or equivalent together with at least 9 months experience of asbestos surveying.
2. An established track record and experience in asbestos surveying.
3. Experience in producing reports and correspondence, and giving clear oral reports.
4. Experience of working to tight deadlines.
5. Must be capable of accessing all parts of buildings including working at height and in confined spaces, etc.
6. A working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word
7. A flexible approach to learning and support of co-workers.
8. Ability to communicate effectively, accept instructions and give clear oral reports.
9. An attention to detail and an ability to work to tight deadlines.
10. Full driving license required.
