Summary

We are currently recruiting for a thriving company looking to appoint a Trainee Project Engineer locally to Hereford on a permanent basis. This opportunity would be perfect for someone either; with experience in the Air Conditioning industry OR an engineering degree calibre with some experience working in an engineering company.
What will the role of Trainee Project Engineer involve?
This role will involve a mixture of office working and site based work (the site based work will mostly be within the West Midlands and London regions but can be anywhere within the UK).
The position will require planning pipe runs, quoting works, securing contracts and then ensuring the successful delivery of the project from start to finish. The ideal candidate must be very practical, organised, have an engineering mindset and be driven to progress in this career.
This role will be managing a variety of contracts (mostly in retail environments) installing systems such as splits, VRV’s, VRF’s and ductwork. This role will be working alongside the Project Manager who will be offering a wealth of training until the successful candidate is ready to start working solely and will be able to then progress down the route of Project Engineer and then Project Manager
What will you need to be considered for this opportunity?
• We will be able to consider applications from the following backgrounds:
• Air Conditioning service or installation experience
• Project Engineering or Management experience
• Degree educated in Engineering with some experience working within an Engineering or FM company
• Must be confident working with numbers and quoting whilst also being computer literate.
• Must be a confident communicator and have experience being client faced (whether this be in a sales role, project manager role or being onsite doing installs)
• Must have a methodical approach to work to ensure all tasks are completed and in a timely manner.
• Highly organised and reliable.
• Flexible attitude to assist other areas of the business when required.
