Crynodeb
Estuary Group Practice is a thriving training practice in the west of Swansea. We have a growing population of 20,000 patients to whom we provide healthcare services across our three sites in Gowerton, Penclawdd and Gorseinon. The practice is proud of our experienced cohesive team of 14 partners working with two practice nurses, a healthcare assistant, a practice pharmacist and 2 physician associates supported by over twenty non-clinical staff. We provide a diverse range of enhanced services to our patients (such as minor surgery and contraceptive services). We have for many years been a training practice for GP registrars, and we also teach students. This means that Estuary Group Practice has been a financially healthy partnership for many years, and we are all able to enjoy an extremely healthy work-life balance. We are looking for an enthusiastic doctor to join our established team. We have 4-6 salaried sessions available with a view to partnership. We would expect you to share the clinical workload equally. (Our clinical admin load is minimised by our experiencednon-clinical staff, and our clinical MDT means house-calls are occasional. The on-call commitment is low owing to the number of partners in the practice). We would offer six weeks annual leave, one weeks study leave and a competitivesalary of £11,000 per session, negotiable depending on experience. We can be flexible for the right person and would welcome an informal discussion if you would like to know more about how we work or would like to join us. Informal discussions or practice visits are welcomed by contacting the Practice Manager Barry Matthews on 01792 872404 or Barry.Matthews@wales.nhs.uk.
