This position plays an instrumental role in harnessing our social media presence to cultivate rich customer experiences and meaningful engagement. It’s an exciting time to join the Communications Group, as we transform to be a strategic partner to the business, maximising our performance, and delivering integrated, high-impact communications across channels.
An informal blended working approach has been adopted for many of our roles across National Highways. We offer many different ways to work flexibly and we’re open to discuss part-time working, job shares, and flexible start and finish times.
Please wait until the interview stage before asking us about flexibility, and we will explore what is possible.

To be successful:
Track record for delivering goal-oriented, impactful, creative social media strategies.
Experience in using insight and evaluation products and techniques, and wider market knowledge, to drive continuous improvement.
Highly organised, capable of planning ahead in terms of social media campaigns, activity, and team workflow.
Ability to manage external agencies, partners, and communities.
Ability to build trusted relationships with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
