Head of S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) - The Compleat Food Group
Location: Hybrid role, commutable 3 days a week to one of our sites in either Nottingham, Milton Keynes or Redhill (Surrey)

We are recruiting for a Head of S&OP to lead this function within our talented Supply Chain team. The core purpose for this role
is to develop and evolve a world class Sales and Operations Planning process across the business to improve customer satisfaction,
profitability, inventory turns, lead times and working capital.
We are looking for an experienced S&OP leader who is able to facilitate and drive results in a fast paced and demanding high
growth chilled food environment.
You will leverage your strong interpersonal and leadership skills for strategic and tactical decision-making relating to balancing
demand and supply; to align volumes and mix - with capacity and capability.
The Role:
* Integrate financial and operational plans within strategic objectives to deliver improved operating and financial results.
* Manage the aggregation of the demand plan process across product categories and BUs, producing a rolling 12-18 month estimate
of future demand in units.
* Conduct capacity and scenario planning to be able to validate and present data and analytics.
* Manages and drives S&OP processes and ensures that colleagues are engaged, properly trained and in place.
* Develop, monitor and revise long term output requirement plans to ensure capacity requirements to achieve the long term demand
plans.
* Prepare data and material for monthly S&OP meetings (that you will coordinate) that will facilitate decisions around equipment,
labor and all other resources needed to support demand over the S&OP planning horizon.
* Develop support metrics, tools and reporting that will enable our Manufacturing sites and Procurement teams to achieve the
required service level and inventory targets.
* Work closely with Sales and Product Development on planning/executing the activation for new products as well planning/managing
other product-life-cycle phases.
* Track performance metrics and analysis to identify both opportunities and potential issues within S&OP processes and reporting.
* Work cross functionally to evaluate the demand/production plan against inventory, capacity and external factors and create
mitigating actions if needed.
* Identify significant business risks and escalate to the appropriate leadership teams.
* Identify and implement supply chain initiatives to improve efficiencies, cost, waste reduction and other lean principles.
Who we are looking for:
* Ideally 5+ years experience in Supply Chain (experience in Demand/Supply/Inventory Planning in an environment of both
manufactured and sourced finished goods highly preferred).
* Knowledge and experience in MRP and ERP systems, inventory control, material planning, item master, demand planning, and
advanced supply chain planning and analytics.
* Knowledgeable in lean principles/methodologies.
* Excellent organisational, project management and time management skills, including multi-tasking and ability to prioritise and
meet deadlines, with a high attention to detail. Adaptable to multiple requests, daily changes and still deliver on
commitments.
* Data-driven with demonstrated ability to analyse and resolve problems and strong proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel,
Word, PowerPoint).
* Must be able to work independently while still functioning well in a team environment and communicate effectively with senior
management, peers, and colleagues cross-functionally.
* People management experience including strong interpersonal and leadership skills: meeting facilitation, skill sharing and
training, organisation change.
