Summary
TeacherActive is working with a well-known college based in North Cambridge. The college has a ‘good’ OFSTED rating and prides itself on having 95% success rate of their students going on to finding employment or continuing to further studies. They work closely with 1,500 employers across the country and abroad to add to the many opportunities they already have learning at the college. The college has outstanding teaching and leisure facilities and a reputation for excellence in a number of fields.
The college is looking for an Employability Trainer to add to their team of educators. They need to be consistent with their teaching delivery, incorporating an effective range of learning strategies to get the best educational outcome. They need to be able to design and develop learning resources to support the needs of different learning abilities. The Employability Trainer needs to provide employability skills courses at a high level, covering a wide range of sector specific programmes.
Successful Employability Trainer will have:
GCSE Maths and English at grade C or equivalent
PTLLS qualification or other relevant teacher training
Experience within the employability sector
Experience training others in non-traditional teaching environments
