From job search strategies to boosting confidence, your goal is to equip our clients with the skills they need to thrive in employment, training, or further education.

You'll handle paperwork diligently and match clients with suitable job opportunities, arranging employer visits and work placements. Conducting personalised Action Plans, you'll keep clients focused on their goals. With targets to meet, flexibility in delivery location is key. What you’ll do

Deliver a variety of training and one to one support designed to prepare the customer for securing employment including via work placement/trial that will lead to employment
Be responsible for and aware of contractual job targets in relation to the number of customers we are contracted to have on our provision and the number of job starts and sustained jobs that are expected to achieve with their customers
Train customers in specific employability and functional skills in line with the requirements of the local labour market, and specific employers. Relevant customer documentation is to be completed in line with company procedures
Work with employers, training providers and other agencies to strengthen the service we provide to our customers, including booking them in to deliver a session on the course
Be prepared to work at other locations/contracts to share good practice and cover absence as necessary.
What you’ll need

Level 2 English and Maths as a minimum
Appropriate teaching qualification e.g., PTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS, Cert Ed, PGCE
Experience of delivering training and/or teaching people of all ages (minimum of 1 – 2 years)
Previous experience of working with individuals claiming income support and incapacity benefit and the barriers they face
Previous experience of working with individuals claiming income support and incapacity benefit and the barriers they face
Knowledge of Jobcentre Plus programmes and incentives for unemployed people
·Ability to deliver training to groups and individuals.

Overseas equivalent qualifications will be accepted.
