Job Title: Self Employed Mortgage Advisor
Contract Type: Full-time - Hybrid working available
Duties:
- Assist clients in obtaining mortgage loans by providing expert advice and guidance throughout the application process.
- Evaluate clients' financial situations and determine their eligibility for various mortgage options.
- Educate clients on different mortgage products, interest rates, and repayment terms.
- Collect and review necessary documentation from clients, such as income statements, credit reports, and bank statements.
- Analyse financial data to determine the best mortgage options for clients based on their needs and financial goals.
- Guide clients through the loan application process, ensuring all required documents are submitted accurately and in a timely manner.
- Collaborate with underwriters, loan processors, and other professionals to facilitate a smooth loan approval process.
- Maintain knowledge of current mortgage industry regulations and guidelines to ensure compliance with legal requirements.
Skills:
- Strong understanding of basic math principles.
- Proficiency in math calculations and 10-key typing.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to build rapport with clients and provide exceptional customer service.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of mortgage lending practices and regulations is preferred but not required.
