The senior accounts receivable officer is responsible for supporting the accounts receivable manager to lead a high quality accounts receivable function. The post holder will be required to deputise for the accounts receivable manager and assist in preparation and completion of statutory Tac forms.
The potholder will be responsible for the monitoring of debtor accounts and for the collection of debts, ensuring that the recovery methods are in line with the trusts standard financial instructions and other relevant legislation. This will include insuring that work is completed within local and regional timescales.
The potholder will also investigate complex and sensitive issues with a view to provide advise and information to managers, colleagues, patients and customers as requested.
Manage customer accounts, working in a proactive manner to collect monies owed to the trust effectively and efficiently using all forms of communication.
Build and maintain professional relations with customers, service users and internal teams across the trust.
Support the accounts receivable manager to complete the AOB process in line with department of health guidelines. format data used in the production of the final accounts and assist in the completion of the TAC forms.
Deputise for the accounts receivable manager and maintain attendance records, effectively provide line management to the team, ensuring appropriate appraisal, line management and objective settings.
