Home based (with an option to hot desk from any Capita office) or hybrid (home and one of our hub offices in London or Leeds)
Capita Pensions Consultancy is continuing a significant period of transformation to become one of the leading pensions consultancy businesses in the UK.
As the Practice Leader for our Actuarial GMP team, you'll spearhead our service excellence, driving our team of c20 (with 6 direct reports) towards innovative solutions in GMP reconciliation, equalisation, and rectification for our UK Defined Benefit Pension Schemes clients.
You will have previous experience of leading a team, have a technical understanding of the actuarial GMP space and ensure all client project work is delivered on time and to the highest standard. Key Accountabilities:
• Lead a Team of c20 with 6 direct reports who work on projects that cover GMP reconciliation, equalisation and rectification of benefits for current and former members of UK Defined Benefit Pension Schemes
• Provide actuarial and other pensions expertise to clients on rectification of benefits, pensions technical and legislative issues
• Responsible for revenue generation from current client projects and new business development including participating in new client pitches as required
• Cultivate a culture of compliance and risk awareness focusing on the principles of Pensions Consulting and the Capita Group.

Experience/ skills:
• Experience of line management and leading a team of c20 working on multiple client projects
• Effective and agile problem solver with the ability to be innovative and creative in developing propositions for existing and potential clients
• Strong commercial outlook
• Excellent client focus and commitment to quality
• Project leadership on a multi-stakeholder level
• Excellent presentation skills
• Can demonstrate track record of delivering consulting advice to trustee and corporate clients
