As the Housing & Customer Services Manager, you will be responsible for the operational management of our Housing and Customer Services Team, overseeing day-to-day activities and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will play a key role in delivering excellent housing management and neighbourhood services, optimizing customer satisfaction, and driving tenancy sustainment initiatives through effective partnership working.
The Housing & Customer Services Manager reports directly to the Head of Housing & Customer Experience along with working with peers to deliver. The Housing & Customer Services Manager will line manage the Housing & Neighbourhood Service Officers and Customer Services Officer.
Amongst other responsibilities listed in the full job outline the Housing & Customer Services Manager role is to be operational and performance lead for the delivery of customer facing housing neighbourhood services, partner relationship management and Ark Commercial Limited.
The key areas of responsibility are voids, allocations, tenancy management, neighbourhood management, reactive repairs, income management and tenant engagement and communication.

Ark is a major provider of Care and Support to people with long term and enduring conditions such as learning disability, mental health issues, dementia, and autism. Our customer insight information identifies that 76% of our tenants are supported and received care and support services in their home either by Ark Care and Support or external care providers.
