Crynodeb
We wish to appoint a Design Technology Technician to support Product Design, Resistant Materials and Graphic Products. The role includes preparing materials and equipment for lessons and projects including demonstration materials and resources, basic maintenance of equipment and maintaining the good order and organisation of the DT rooms and the associated storage facilities. This is a permanent contract to start as soon as possible.
The hours of work are 37 hours per week, 8:00am to 4:00pm (3.30pm on Fridays) with a 30-minute unpaid lunch break, term time only. The salary for this position is paid at NJC Points 5-6 pro rata (£23,500 - £23,893 for full-time equivalent - actual salary is £19,650 - £19,978).
An interest in Design Technology and experience of working with children is desirable. Full training will be provided to the right candidate.

A high performing school that sits at the heart of the local community with extensive links to the surrounding area, the school is within easy commuting distance of Bristol and Gloucester being just 10 minutes from Junction 14 of the M5. KLB is part of the School Rebuilding Programme. In our case, it is to be a partial rebuild and will include the replacement of both our languages and DT blocks.
