Crynodeb
As a concrete cutter trainee, your job duties include guiding saws or drills during cutting operations to ensure the concrete fits the space intended and matches the specifications. Your responsibilities and the tools that you use can vary, depending on the size of the project.
You start out as an assistant to a more experienced concrete cutter to develop your skills and abilities
You will be trained to be a competent concrete cutter learning to do the following labours water control, learn how to drill, cut and break concrete and other procedures and processes.
At Kilnbridge depending on your experience you will benefit from our in-house training where you will gain the following tickets:
1. Health and Safety
2. PASMA
3. Leading Edge
4. IPAF
5. Diamond drilling
6. Diamond cutting
7. Handsaw cutting
8. Truck saw cutting
9. Robotic demolition
When you complete 23 months you will achieve an NVQ Level 2 Diploma in Concrete Cutting which will allow you to obtain a blue CSCS skills card.
Upon completion, you have the opportunity to progress within the company to achieve higher level NVQs as well as promotions to supervisor and management roles.
o apply for this role you need at least 2-3 GCSEs at grades 9 to 4 (A* to C), or equivalent to become an apprentice.

Some key information about this role:
Minimum 8 hours on site
Overtime available
Some weekend work may be required.
Continuous movement to various sites around the country
Must be 19 or over
