Support Workers in Bicester - OX26 6HT
- Full-time (37.5hrs a week) or part-time (from 22.5hrs a week)
- The current pay rate of £11.50 per hour will be increasing to £12.35 per hour from 1st April 2024. Sleep nights are paid at £45.00 per night
- Location: Bicester OX26 6HT
- Early shifts, Late shifts and sleep-ins shifts
- Preference will be given to those who hold a full UK or EU driving licence, as the people we support ask that you are able to drive their mobility vehicles
We are looking for proactive, engaging and caring people to join our close-knit support team in Bicester, Oxford.
You will be supporting people, with learning disabilities, to live their best lives - the lives that they choose to live.
One of the homes is a very peaceful, sensory-oriented home; you'll find no TV here! The people we support require full, intimate personal care, mobility assistance and support in preparing meals and administering through PEG tubes. Whilst each person has their own hobbies, aspirations, and dreams, everyone in the home enjoys music, massage, reading and playing with toys.
Another home is known for being a very lively household where the people we support are always up for anything! In particular they enjoy going shopping, visiting the cinema, having a sing-song at the karaoke, and going away on day trips. The people we support require full, intimate personal care, prompting, mobility assistance, and support in preparing their meals.
Every day will be different, and rewarding, as you encourage and empower each person to be actively engaged in every aspect of their daily lives. This support will include supporting to favoured activities as well as providing support with daily living skills, medication, personal care and mobility assistance, as required.
